The working principle of a check valve is relatively simple. When fluid flows in the desired direction, it exerts pressure on the movable component, causing it to move away from the valve seat and allowing fluid to pass through the valve unrestricted. However, if the fluid tries to flow in the opposite direction, the pressure from the fluid pushes the movable component against the valve seat, creating a seal that prevents reverse flow.
